What I’ve been up to

Am I the only one that feels like the woke up one day and it was almost Christmas? It feels like this fall has flown by in a blur of markets, fencing tournaments, and work days. We had a lovely Thanksgiving with family here at the house (and all the dogs!) and then all of a sudden it was Christmas! I’m attempting to wrap up my year early, since we’ll be gone to NYC with the kids right after the New Year, and soak up a little rest and holiday magic.

I’ve delivered a number of pet portraits lately (always a favorite for the holidays!). I always feel so blessed when I can work on a pet portrait for someone. I know how much these fur babies mean to their families!

I’ve also finished a number of new cards this fall. Greeting cards bring me so much joy and one of my favorite things is to see my customers at markets finding just the right card.

“This would be perfect!” is one of my favorite sentences to hear at a market. Finding just the right thing to send to a friend or loved one can mean so much to you both.

I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday season and planning and dreaming for the new year!
